Freshman Orientation 2007

Finally, the new intake of the freshman orientation has started.Today is Day2 of the orientation and i guess that the freshies are enjoying themselves in their new poly.

This year i did not participate in the mentor for the FOC becoz i got that blur president 'faizal' who has submitted the application form late..WTH

Today i was asked to help out in the book selling today and packaging the books for the freshies..

So after that, i went to the LT to watch the freshies practicing their cheers with the mentors..

Guess what??To my surprise,i saw Balqis as a head mentor..Imagine the jokes she made..I cant stand laughing in the LT.MAsturah was also there..Well they two keep sabo me in the LT and ask me to teach the freshies hand sign...

Haiz up till now,i still regretted for not particiapating...This year the freshies have alot of 'Chio bus' got ah lian one,guai one....Yes, and i saw SY cousin among them!!

I think that BIE is going to extinct soon.Why??COz this year there are oni 3 classes and the total number of students are 63!!!What a number..

You know what???These 63 students, most of them are Malaysian and Chinese from CHina...Well, to hanquan and sy reading this blog..Dun worry la...the chio bus i mentioned are Singaporean..Wahah...Want handphone asked me ar...

MP/SIP

Attend a long 2hrs of briefing at TCC.Nearly fallen asleep..Sofa was nice ya..Well i'm sad!!why?Coz i'm gona missed my friends when sch starts..

Molecular Strain Typing On Stenophomonas Maltophilia..

Hi Applied Science School~I'm coming..
I going to do this project for one whole semester..Nope,perhaps maybe until 3.2??
A hard and challenging project indeed...
Ones need to have a firm background on this bacteria before a research could be done..
We are going to learn new things as wad my supervisor told us..
Beside PCR,Gel Electrophoresis and Mass Spectroscopy....
Another big machine will be AFLP.What's dat??
Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism..
Heard that TP ASC has pumped millon of dollars for jus this machine.Cool~~and each of us me and SY are going to pay $5k for this project..Well dun care abt it coz nt our problem also.Let our Head to settle it..Wahaha..

Heard that this teachinque will be useful when we are going out to find jobs..As nt much ppl in spore did really master this technique...Wah..Hopefully could be useful BA,otherwise this project will be a waste..

Stressy daY coMinG~~

While i am writing now...A feeling of stress has already stroke me??Money??Work??Friendship??Relationship??Well, i guess these are not an issue to me.What exactly is the thing that bothers me?Study???Not exactly..Maybe my answer will be Research.

Recently i was told to do a scientific research on Stenotrophomonas Maltophilia.After reading several pages of article relating to this..Confusion started to fill my head and i was stuck.With the medical and scientific terms they used.I think the content was far more harder to understand than that of our sch lecture notes.

Well after doing in depth research from Chinese web, i guess what is the S.Maltophilia about..
Haha..Maybe SY would not be reading this..but to save trouble for researching again, S.Maltophilia basically orginated from nature,dirty water,animals or cosomial bacterium founded in the hospital and also reusing the disposable nebuilizers in the hospital.
Quite a lethal and silence killer.

Family Day

Yesterday my dad decided to treat my relative a dinner at his friend restaurant at Clark Quey. My sis was good..She could treat her 2 other friends from her poly to join our dinner.Ytd night seems like a "XiangQing".While having dinner ask me to pick the girl i like..(haha jokking)
On the way i took some photos which attracted my eyeside.

--The big wheel.Cant imagine it has completed so fast.Hopefully we can visit it one day..

So around 7pm we reach Clark Quey.So many of the youngsters and "ang moh" were strolling along the river, taking pictures.Some were having their dinner at the restaraunt. Guess what??I saw some hot babes working for a cafe called HOOTERS..and thats really HOT!! They wear short pants and tight T-shirt.Sorry i cant take pictures coz i scare i would be beaten to death..

The Metropole Imperial Herbal Restaurant

Guess how much we have for this soup(Buddha Jump The Wall)??Consist of Abalone,sharkfin,scallop,"fish stomach","dong chong cao" etc...

It's $40 per bowl and yesterday there were 10 of us having dinner there so u can rougly guess how much was that dinner.Heart Pain.

Our dessert "BASHI" originated from northern China. They use sweet potato and yam. By pouring hot melted malt sugar onto it they form those "SHI" line..haha duno how to say..We must hurry and "throw" them into ice water before they hardened on the plate.

Anyone interested to try the dishes there can inform me..I can introduce to you all plus a 10% discount.

BeRnaRd's BiRthDaY

Ytd we celebrated Bernard's 19 birthday at NewYork NeYork..Well exp food there indeed altough my food was n0t that exp..but hopefully Bernard enjoyed his day there...

Later on we had some bowling at MS which i think nt everyone are familiar with the game...Coz seen alot of longang along the way.... I uploaded some pics here.Not much but hope u all enjoy it.
